What is xPlace?
¬ xPlace is the world’s only language-aware, intelligent find and replace utility. It is the only utility guaranteeing that you have grammatically correct sentences after a replace operation. If you edit documents in a language xPlace is available in, you can be pretty sure that you’ll need it.
Many languages, including French, Spanish, German, Japanese and Central-European languages, have an enormous system of prefixes and suffixes called morphology, creating thousands of word forms for a single word. So far, there has been no method for finding them all, entering a single search expression.
xPlace is able to find all word forms if you enter the word as it appears in a dictionary, and replace them correctly, creating the appropriate word form from the dictionary entry.
¬ Languages like French, Spanish or German also require agreement with other units in the sentence, like the conjugation of adjectives. xPlace adjusts the rest of the sentence to the word replaced.
With xPlace, you can also replace full expressions, not just words, properly.
